This wonderful Victorian ring was such a special find. It features a central almandine garnet, bordered by a ring of 8 natural pearls arranged in a pretty floral motif. The vibrant green emeralds on each shoulder provide a great colour balance as well as a wide splash of colour.
The band is crafted from 15ct gold and includes incredible ornate hand chasing to the entirity of the band. This type of quintessential detail representive of the Victorian age is what makes antique rings like this one so unique and special.
The band is fully hallmarked for Chester, 15ct Gold and the mid-Victorian year, 1849. That makes this ring 175 years old! Needless to say therefore that this ring is delicate and should be worn with great care. Pearls especially, should not come into contact with water, oils, creams or perfumes and should not be worn when exercising or swimming.
